A February feast of boxing on Sky ringside

Press Release - 1/25/2007

A February feast of boxing on Sky ringside

Sky Channel kicks off its 2007 boxing coverage with back-to-back live and exclusive premier events on the first two Sundays of February.

The highly anticipated IBF World Light Welterweight Title Eliminator between Lovemore Ndou and Naoufel Ben Rabah is the headline event on what is being dubbed the 'Bad Blood Titlemania Showdown' on February 4.

The card features the cream of Australian boxing with Paul Briggs, Sakio Bika, Danny Geale and Rod Medley part of the undercard.

"This card will highlight the best of Australian boxing," said Sky Channel's boxing expert Matthew Brooks.

"The Ndou v Rabah fight has been a long time coming. The 'Bad Blood Showdown' will showcase who the supreme boxer really is."

On February 11, Sky Channel is bringing the boxing action from Las Vegas live and exclusive into Australia when three-time world champion 'Sugar' Shane Mosley fights rising star Luis Collazo in the Welterweight World Title Eliminator. "

Both fighters have put their reputations on the line and have said they're going to win the 'Battle of the Bay'," Brooks said.

The marquee fights can be seen exclusively live at participating Sky Channel hotels, clubs and casinos across Australia.
